The Palouse is an amorphously defined but rich farming area of some 3,000 square miles in eastern Washington State and western Idaho. It is somewhat reminiscent of Tuscany (definitely NOT for the food), except instead of vineyards the main crop here is wheat and rapeseed (Canola). Regardless, it is a paradise for photography.
