This gallery of images is culled from many of my other projects and is an ongoing photographic exploration of buildings shaped by necessity, improvisation, and endurance. Made of thin metal, these structures were never meant to be heroic; they were meant to be cheap and useful. Yet in their weathered skins—creased, rusted, buckled by time and temperature—they carry the visual poetry of places that have quietly outlived their own intentions.
I’m drawn to these buildings for their contradictions: they are both fragile and stubborn, industrial and handmade, temporary yet somehow permanent. Their surfaces record every season, every dent, every repair—a kind of accidental autobiography written in texture and light. By isolating these forms in photographs, I aim to reveal the unexpected elegance in their geometry and the stories suggested by their scars.
